About ONYC

ONYC was born from a simple realization: while parents carefully choose food, diapers, and skincare for their children, footwear—despite playing a crucial role in healthy growth—is often overlooked. In fact, nearly 70% of a child’s foot development happens in the first 10 years.

As parents and footwear experts, we saw a clear gap in the market—shoes that were either affordable but unhealthy, or well-designed but out of reach for most families. We believed parents shouldn’t have to compromise between comfort, health, and affordability.

That belief became ONYC. Every pair is designed in-house and made at our Bada CareKhana–certified facility, built around one question: would we put this on our own kids? Lightweight, flexible, breathable—and built to keep up with actual play, not just look good in a box.

Today, that approach has earned the trust of 9 lakh+ parents across India, with 12 lakh+ pairs delivered to over 20,000 pincodes. We've been featured in ANI News, Business Standard, and The Print—but the number we care about most is the one you won't find in a press clipping: the kids who run, jump, and play a little harder because their shoes aren't holding them back.
